FIRE SAFETY CAPABILITY

 

BLACK EYE WATCH SECURITY guards undergo intensive Fire Safety training and fire-fighting drills. Every guard of BLACK EYE WATCH SECURITY has competency in fire and emergency response procedures and the use of various fire equipment.

 

 

SCOPE OF OPERATION A. ACCESS CONTROL

Security Personnel will be deployed and positioned to ensure that only authorized persons are admitted into the premises and equal scrutiny for persons exiting the premises.

 

The Security Personnel will inspect record and tally all documents with goods that enters or exits out of the sites.

 

B.  MONITORING OF ACTIVITIES

Security Personnel will strictly monitor activities by undertaking patrols, watching and interviewing workers, conducting spontaneous inspections, screening of all movements, recording incidents and unfamiliar movements, reports, follow ups and investigations.

 

C.  CONTROLING OF PILFERING

Pilfering will be eliminated to the minimum through the following means:

 

 

  • Questioning and interviewing suspicious officials
  • Strict adherence to operational rules and procedures
  • Apprehension of law breakers
  • Restriction of unauthorized persons

 

D.  PREVENTION OF DAMAGE AND LOSS

Security Personnel will restrict operational staff without the correct working gears from gaining access to restricted areas in order to avoid losses and damages.

 

E.  INVESTIGATION

All investigations for security breaches and other crime related issues will be handled by Blackeye’s Investigation Department at the various branches and forwarded to their head for further actions. The department shall conduct security awareness training, personnel vetting of all new recruits and liaise with other state security and intelligence agencies for background checks.

 

DEPLOYMENT OF SECURITY PERSONNEL

We have Special Trained Security Personnel to ensure security of all assets and persons. All Security Personnel deployed to site or location will act at all times in accordance with instructions of the Organization.

Security services will be discharged over a twenty-four (24) hour period at all locations under two shifts:

  • Day Duty: 6:00am – 6:00pm
  • Night Duty: 6:00pm – 6:00am

 

BLACKEYE has various relieving system for the purposes of optimizing performance.i.e. the six (6)- one (1) where guards work for 6 days and take a day off, the five (5)- two (2) where guards work for 5 days and take 2 days off etc. We however operate within the security policy or SOP’s of Client. Whichever system Client operates will require additional guards to perform relieving duties. Under no circumstances should there be a slag in the deployment of guards. These guards (relievers) also double as back up for guards when there is an emergency such as incident involving guard’s illness, absenteeism, “pass” etc.

 

RESPONSE SYSTEM EMERGENCIES

 

BLACK EYE WATCH Security will install alarm system on the client’s premises, in situations when the alarm is triggered, the control room picks it up and forwards it to the zonal strategic patrol team, who will in turn respond in a maximum of 10 minutes.

 

INCIDENT REPORT STRUCTURE

 

All incidents/complaints are reported to the client service manager. Operations team then comes to check it up and recommend investigations where necessary. Investigations team and the police (Depending on the situation) comes to investigate the incident. After investigations a report is given to Black eye watch Security.

 

Depending on the magnitude of the situation, the minimum of One (1) working day and maximum of thirty

(30) working days to handle the incident.

 

 

 

 

MONITORING AND SUPERVISION

 

Supervision plays a pivotal role in maintaining security at Client locations. That is the more reason why the command order is outlaid clearly. Guards will be overseen by the Stationed Supervisor, who reports to the Patrol Supervisor and the Patrol Supervisor report to the Field manager, then he also relays information to the Regional Operations Manager and finally to the Head of Operations.

 

REGIONAL MANAGER: The regional managers will also have oversight responsibility over the contract and also supervise the contract indirectly. They will remain the highest-ranking officer within any region with Client location.

 

FIELD MANAGER: He will coordinate the affairs of all guards, site supervisors and patrol supervisors at post by ensuring that they perform their duties as expected. He is supposed to serve as the link between the Client and our main Operational Centre. He will work hand in hand with the Client security coordinator or focal person to whom he will forward situational reports and address security concerns. Daily situational reports-(SITREPS) will be collated from the various locations or beats via the patrol/ stationed supervisors for onward submission to project coordinator which will be compiled into weekly and monthly reports.

 

PATROL SUPERVISORS: They will patrol Client locations to ensure that the locations are safe and where there are issues, they quickly address at their level before escalating. They patrol with motorbikes and serve as a means of counter- checking on stationed supervisors and guards.

 

STATIONED SUPERVISORS: The two shift i.e. day and night supervisors will operate day and night. They will patrol to ensure that, the guards are at post, properly dressed and discharging their duties efficiently and effectively at all times. Every visit will be recorded. Manage the duty roster and schedules ensuring that the required number of personnel report for duty for each shift.

 

GUARDS: The guard’s primary responsibility among others will be to ensure maximum security, safety and protection of the Client staff and guests while inside and around the Client including all its assets/facilities/properties, from injury (and possible death from injury), damage, loss etc. Our guards are well trained in security procedures. Guards will be given off days during which a reliever will perform.

RAPID RESPONSE TEAM

We have a Rapid Response Team comprising of specially trained and combat ready personnel who are always on-board radio equipped vehicles, strategically positioned to respond to any and all emergency situations within minutes.

Security Personnel at all duty post will be equipped with radio handsets and appropriate communication gadgets to fully discharge their assigned duties professionally as well as BLACK EYE WATCH uniforms and Name Tags for quick and easy identification.
